From big milestones to back-to-back wins and historic names being joined by modern stars, there’s plenty of headlines to review on Saturday, and to look forward to for Sunday. Scott Redding (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) set most of the records, after a tactical masterclass gave him Race 1 victory on Saturday.

  2. Redding’s win puts him level with Ben Bostrom in the all-time win standings with seven and 32nd overall.

  3. Redding now also has 16 career podiums, level with Anthony Gobert and Yukio Kagayama in the 40th position in the all-time standings.

  4. It is the 368th win for Ducati in WorldSBK, as they aim for a 370th in WorldSBK on Sunday.

  5. Two Brits on the podium today gives Great Britain 766 podium places. Four more podium places tomorrow, and they are on 770, the most decorated country in this field.

  6. Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK) took a fourth consecutive podium at Estoril, the first rider to do this in WorldSBK.

  7. Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) took third, his 189th podium in WorldSBK, his 146th for Kawasaki. He could take a 190th podium of his career tomorrow.
